We had an interesting week and it involved mostly teeth. Yes, you got it, our family had good and bad encounters with fangs, braces and beaks. First it was the braces because on Tuesday Dean had his removed during a trip to Las Vegas. Where, by the way, we were able to catch up with some good friends that invited us to the pool for a little cooling off! Ok, so while part of our family was in LV, removing braces, others were at home trying to find a way to remove snakes with fangs from the front steps. We had a visitor come to the house to try to find a friend, and Hailey was the first choice. She is lucky to not have been bitten!! She walked within inches of the coiled Mojave Rattler and then turned around to walk past again - she didn't have her glasses on and said that it looked like a rock. However, when she returned the third time, wearing her glasses, she noticed that it wasn't a rock . . . . hmmm then she called for help and grandma came running!! Well we got rid of that problem but then the next day we had a war between two halves of the Jones' chicken coop - one half won and the other half wished they had sharpened their beaks . . . . . the kids were mortified . . . . mom had to find a creative way to make it all understandable . . . even though I really didn't get why chickens peck each other to death. All in all we had a great week, then yesterday we attempted to put together the new trampoline - wow, we had no idea that would end up being a 7 hour project!!
